The Egida Legal Aid Foundation was established on 28 February 2022 to promote legal knowledge among all persons residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”5\/12″][vc_empty_space height=”100px” el_class=”mobile-hidden”][vc_single_image image=”63″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”cele-statutowe” el_class=”cele”][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Statutory objectives:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Conducting activities to develop and improve legal awareness among Polish citizens and foreigners residing in or planning to stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/li>\n
  2. Combating legal exclusion of persons with disabilities, persons in need and vulnerable persons;<\/li>\n
  3. Disseminating knowledge about the rights of persons with disabilities, persons in need and vulnerable persons, and raising public awareness of their problems;<\/li>\n
  4. Conducting activities to protect civil rights and freedoms and human rights;<\/li>\n
  5. Taking initiatives to protect women’s rights, including respect for the principle of equal treatment of women and men in law, in legal practice, and in social, political, economic and family life;<\/li>\n
  6. Combating all forms of violence and discrimination against women;<\/li>\n
  7. Combating social exclusion, in particular on the grounds of age, disability, social and financial status, origin, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, nationality and sexual orientation;<\/li>\n
  8. Conducting activities in the area of legislation and application of law to level the playing field for weaker, discriminated or socially excluded groups (including women, persons with disabilities, minorities, refugees, children and young people from dysfunctional backgrounds or culturally, socially or economically neglected areas, foreigners, clients of financial institutions, tenants of municipal dwellings, victims of road accidents);<\/li>\n
  9. Expanding access of Polish citizens and foreigners to information, counselling and legal aid;<\/li>\n
  10. Supporting and promoting the idea of restorative justice, including mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method;<\/li>\n
  11. Nurturing public awareness of issues related to the functioning of the Polish justice system;<\/li>\n
  12. Promoting knowledge of legal culture and legal professions;<\/li>\n
  13. Monitoring legislative processes, as well as the reliability, honesty and efficiency of public authorities;<\/li>\n
  14. Taking initiatives aimed at improving the state of legislation and pro-social initiatives to improve the legal situation of persons with disabilities, persons in need, the elderly and persons at risk of exclusion;<\/li>\n
  15. Conducting civic oversight of public authorities or private institutions;<\/li>\n
  16. Creating and organising advisory committees (think tanks) dealing with research and analysis on public affairs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Methods of achieving statutory objectives:<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. organising, developing and providing legal aid, including free legal advice;<\/li>\n
    2. organising and running courses, training sessions, lectures, seminars, conferences and research programmes;<\/li>\n
    3. providing online counselling;<\/li>\n
    4. conducting consultations with representatives of government and local administration and representatives of the judiciary regarding the existing legal system and new regulations;<\/li>\n
    5. preparing legal analyses, reports and expert opinions;<\/li>\n
    6. preparing legal opinions, including opinions on legislative acts and their drafts;<\/li>\n
    7. monitoring applicable legal regulations and the practice of their application;<\/li>\n
    8. conducting publishing and information activities, including creating and running websites, producing educational films, social campaigns, competitions, publishing guides and information brochures;<\/li>\n
    9. cooperating with public institutions operating at central, regional and local level;<\/li>\n
    10. cooperating with institutions and non-governmental organisations operating both domestically and abroad;<\/li>\n
    11. cooperating with self-governing bodies of legal professions;<\/li>\n
    12. providing technical, training, informational or financial support to other non-governmental organisations, legal entities and natural persons whose activities are consistent with the objectives pursued by the Foundation;<\/li>\n
    13. supporting volunteering;<\/li>\n
    14. appearing before competent public administration bodies, state bodies, judicial bodies (common courts, administrative courts, military courts, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Tribunal, the Supreme Administrative Court), the Police and other uniformed services, and the prosecution service in matters covered by the statutory objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Uczymy i pomagamy, to tytu\u0142 nowego projektu, kt\u00f3ry Fundacja pomocy prawnej Egida b\u0119dzie realizowa\u0107 w ramach Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarno\u015bci.<\/p>\n

      Celem projektu jest uaktywnienie spo\u0142eczno\u015bci lokalnej w zakresie niesienia pomocy na rzecz obywateli Ukrainy.<\/p>\n

      Budowanie atmosfery zaufania pomi\u0119dzy przedstawicielami obu narod\u00f3w oraz poznanie wzajemne kultur obu kraj\u00f3w. Poprzez projekt planujemy popraw\u0119 sytuacji minimum 30-osobowej grupy obywateli\/obywatelek Ukrainy poprzez wyposa\u017cenie ich w umiej\u0119tno\u015b\u0107 pos\u0142ugiwania si\u0119 j\u0119zykiem polskim. Popraw\u0119 komfortu i skuteczno\u015bci pracy polskich wolontariuszy poprzez zdobycie przez nich umiej\u0119tno\u015bci pos\u0142ugiwania si\u0119 j\u0119zykiem ukrai\u0144skim.<\/p>\n

      W ramach projektu planujemy zorganizowanie:<\/p>\n

      1. Kursu j\u0119zyka polskiego dla trzech 10-osobowych grup obywateli\/obywatelek Ukrainy,<\/li>\n
      2. Kursu j\u0119zyka ukrai\u0144skiego dla grupy inicjatywnej oraz wolontariuszy<\/li>\n
      3. Utworzenie s\u0142owniczka\/rozm\u00f3wek polsko\/ukrai\u0144skich<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Projekt \u201eW\u00a0jedno\u015bci si\u0142a\u201d<\/h4>\n

        Projekt pn.:\u00a0W\u00a0jedno\u015bci si\u0142a<\/b>\u00a0wsp\u00f3\u0142finansowany ze\u00a0\u015brodk\u00f3w Polsko-Ameryka\u0144skiej Fundacji Wolno\u015bci w\u00a0ramach\u00a0programu RITA \u2013 Przemiany w\u00a0regionie, realizowanego przez\u00a0Fundacj\u0119 Edukacja dla Demokracji<\/i>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

        Celem interwencji jest wsparcie ludno\u015bci cywilnej Ukrainy, kt\u00f3ra\u00a0cierpi w\u00a0wyniku dzia\u0142a\u0144 wojennych ze\u00a0szczeg\u00f3lnym uwzgl\u0119dnieniem kobiet z\u00a0dzie\u0107mi z\u00a0niepe\u0142nosprawno\u015bci\u0105 intelektualn\u0105\u00a0 lub ruchow\u0105.<\/p>\n

        Fundacja \u015bwiadczy nieodp\u0142atn\u0105 pomoc i informacj\u0119 prawn\u0105 dla obywateli Ukrainy oraz innych os\u00f3b, kt\u00f3re przyby\u0142y na terytorium Polski z terytorium Ukrainy w zwi\u0105zku z dzia\u0142aniami wojennymi. Fundacja zidentyfikowa\u0142a \u00a0grupy potrzebuj\u0105cych, kt\u00f3rym nale\u017cy udzieli\u0107 niezw\u0142ocznego wsparcia prawnego i administracyjnego. Wsparcie takie obejmuje m. in.:<\/p>\n

        • rozpoznanie sytuacji prawnej, kt\u00f3ra jest zr\u00f3\u017cnicowana, w zale\u017cno\u015bci od podstawy wjazdu do Polski, posiadanych dokument\u00f3w oraz obranej drogi przybycia;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w uzyskaniu w\u0142a\u015bciwego statusu prawnego w \u015bwietle projektowanej polskiej specustawy o pomocy obywatelom Ukrainy w zwi\u0105zku z konfliktem zbrojnym na terytorium tego pa\u0144stwa, decyzji Rady UE ws. ochrony czasowej w zwi\u0105zku z polsk\u0105 ustaw\u0105 o ochronie udzielanej cudzoziemcom, polskiej specustawy covidowej oraz og\u00f3lnych przepis\u00f3w o cudzoziemcach;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w uzyskaniu dost\u0119pu do rynku pracy;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w podejmowaniu dzia\u0142alno\u015bci gospodarczej;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w uzyskaniu \u015bwiadcze\u0144 socjalnych;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w ustanowieniu przedstawicielstwa prawnego dla ma\u0142oletnich, kt\u00f3rym nie towarzysz\u0105 rodzice ani inni opiekunowie prawni;<\/li>\n
        • pomoc w innych sprawach zwi\u0105zanych z nag\u0142ym i nieplanowanym przybyciem do obcego pa\u0144stwa;<\/li>\n
